I learned a lot with this assignment. I still don't think I am very good at using PowerPoint, but I am getting better. I am becoming more familiar with the menu bars and how to insert pictures, slides, and alt text. I had to use one of my tokens on this assignment because the switching between pages were really confusing me. I got it, but it took a lot of time. I understand that this assignment was for PowerPoint literacy, but I struggled too much with coming up with new ideas and facts to add. I like being creative, but trying to come up with a whole Jeopardy game about any random topic was difficult. If there was a subject area or instruction given about what to do a Jeopardy about I think I would have been able to focus more on the PowerPoint skills than the information provided.  I appreciated how in this class we did a survey in the middle of the semester to reflect on what we liked and disliked about the class. I feel as teachers we expect our students to always try their bes...

I only ever experienced distance learning during COVID. During COVID, Zoom just started emerging as a distance learning technology and we used it every day. We also used Canvas and Google suite as our main communication and assignment platforms. I had a friend use Mural in one of her classes and it seemed really interesting. It linked songs, kahoots, and worksheets for the students to complete their assignments. This would be a great resource to use in the classroom to make sentence structure ...

 1. I think I aquired a lot of new skills from working on the Web Design assignment. I think I am getting better at creating my Creative Commons Licenses for my work. I have gotten to the point where I know what I want to share and what I don't. I also think I caught on pretty quickly to linking external pages and my accounts to the website. I had always wondered how people did that, but now I know. I have also never been one to use Google Calendar, but being able to make the events show up in the shared, public Google Calendar was really easy. I think that would be a great tool in the classroom. The thing that I disliked about this assignemtn was Weebly. The site crashed while I was working on the assignment and deleted my work. It kept saying loading for 2 hours and when I refreshed my computer, all of my work was gone. I was able to redo my work, but it was a little frustrating. I can definitely see myself using a website or something similar with my future class, but maybe thro...
