Copyright refers to the  protections of one's works and intellectual property. Copyright can be applied to any piece of work a person creates and have a copyright symbol applied to it. A copyright can be obtained legally, with the copyright symbol, or through a separate Collective Commons license. The Collective Commons license is like a copyright in the ownership of intellectual property, but it also specifies how the author allows it to be used. This can be specification like use only with attribution, only with non-profits, or with no changes to the original work. Fair use is similar to copyright, but it refers to what and how much of a piece of work is being used. Fair use applies to nonprofit or educational purposes. The amount of the piece of work depends on the creator and how the use will affect the creator. I had no idea that fair use was a thing or you could get a Collective Commons license, so this is really interesting. I plan on teaching elementary...

Teacher leadership also focuses on providing equitable opportunities for suc...

As a freshman, I have very little experience with technology in the context of teaching. I have only ever been on the receiving end of the educational tools, so I hope to acquire skills that I will be able to use in the classroom with my future students. I also struggle with technology literacy, so I hope to become more confident in technological tools.       In the classroom, I only used Google Suite, Canvas, Kahoot, and Flipgrid. My knowledge of technology in an educational setting is very limited. Like my previous teachers, I had always preferred paper/tangible tools in the classroom, so this is very new.       I do already have some existing personal learning networks related to teaching. My parents are a huge part of my learning and value system. I can attribute so much of who I am and what I know to their parenting styles and love for me. In addition to what they have done for me growing up, they are also educators. I got...
